I did. But now I'm thinking it is a smooth head hammerhead (which you can keep in NSW and taste good). Fml lol.

Oh well it goes on to fight another day, I'll just have to catch another one. (I was pretty good at predicting the bite on the slimy though wasn't I haha)

Yea mate you picked that very well. Spot on. Pity that would have been a lot of flake but now gives you an opportunity to catch another one  you got plenty of fresh bait left? :)

Sitting back and enjoying the read. Looks like a brilliant holiday to get away from it all. Great fish, hope there is more to come! Well done

Getting a bit low, got half a tailor left, some salmon fillets and a few very small slimies. Might have to do another quick bait run get some more.

Yeah only took me an hour or so to get a few tailor, salmon, trevally etc. not too far from the jetty. The slimys are a little bit of mucking around and unless they are a really good size (20cm+) then they aren't really an ideal toothy bait. Great size for snapper though

Unfortunately I'm led to believe it's a scallop head hammerhead which are prohibited to keep. So no flake for me tonight... yet :)
Well done mate
How long it take to get that one in?
