Yeah I had the whole boat looked over for that reason. Everything else is in good condition apart from the two things I mentioned in the post. Anxiously waiting to use her again.

I cant imagine why someone wouldn't charge to replace the floor. Replacing the floor normally costs the same as replacing the transom.

Don't stress about it, transom commonly need to be replaced, just make sure it is done right from the inside if possible.
