Are you saying you had no good trips all throughout winter last year?

Went out from Warneet Sunday morning, cracker conditions, water like a millpond all day. Very foggy start so had to go slow. Good numbers of yakkas caught for bait and a decent 45cm couta on a small shiner hook and a couple of 30cm flatties. Nothing touched the bait when we went deeper, not even banjos which was unusual. Quite a few seals at the top of Westernport at the moment.

Not a lot of luck on the fish but sun was shining, no wind and burgers cooked for lunch on the boat. Gave us plenty of time to discuss all the problems in the world. Just nice to be out there (hopefully with more fish next time)

Still would have been a beautiful day on the water.
Sun shining, no wind and cooking burgers on the boat. Doesn’t sound like it gets much better!
Hopefully some more luck with the fish on the next trip.
Cheers
