2019 Rec Fishing Guide

Hi all. Does anyone know if the new guide is out yet or are we still using the 2018 rule book. My app is still showing last years version and says its all up to date.

The guide is under review...intentions are to produce the 2019 guide and make it easier to use (understand maybe) than previous guides. The regs in the 2018 guide are still current and they hope to get the new one out in March.

I am not sure when they arrived but the new rule books have appeared in local tackle stores. Some aspects have been written better than previously to clarify things. Roach and Tench now get a mention which is good! Previously, they weren't mentioned which then meant they had a 'bag limit' due to the wording in the book. No bag limit now not that many people would keep them anyway.

Also worth noting, if you have purchased or swapped over to the new pyramid style lift nets for yabbies, you need to check which waters they can not be used in. May be crayfish related me thinks.
