Boat storage near patterson lakes
hi all, i am currently looking at my options for a place to store my boat and trailer, somewhere safe and secure. The size of the boat is 5.75 mtr
I have had the boat stored in a yard with 24 hour monitored alarms and video, ( yea right). Somebody got to the boat the other week and stole, fishing rods, life jackets, soft plastics and hard body lures.
They knew what they were looking for as the took the good stuff and left me with a couple of jarvis walkers and squid jigs.
They had a go at stealing the batteries, electric anchor and fish finders also, when i asked to see the video footage for the camera pointed straight at my boat. yea you guessed it dummy camera along with many of the other cameras in the yard.
Company offered a months free rent as compensation which doesn't even cover the soft plastics and lures, let alone the rods.
any suggestions to safe yards would be appreciated as i cant get the boat down the driveway at home.
Looking for somewhere near patterson river as i live in frankston and have a yearly launch pass at carrum.

Re: Boat storage near patterson lakes
jasew3 thanks for the kind offer :a_goodjob: , currently installed a couple of infared alarms that ring my phone if they tripped. have a few options around here just seeing what other options might be around the area,
I am paranoid they will come back for what they missed so i am checking on the boat everyday when i am in the area as i am a driver and pass by a bit. But why pay top dollar for a yard when i have to do my own security. Once the boat is safe then i will pursuit the yard for the lack of security which they advertise they have.
the good side is i went to go shopping for some awesome replacement gear.

8ball, this is part of what i have set up, still playing with them and other bits. they require a sim card and then once programed they call your phone if tripped. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Wireless-PI ... te-Control
