Could you give me a tip for Australia salmom. I never target this fish, this is my first salmon I caught this one as by catch. On the day was targeting snapper with half-pilchard.

Aussie salmon is very mobile they can be anywhere anytime.
I would use soft plastic with fast retrieve if I would look for them or good old halco metal.
Or go surf fishing.

I prefer to use bait, I might use prawn and block of pilchard with 1/0 and 2/0 circle hook.

I usually catch them with sps but have had great sessions where I have bagged out using size 6 hooks with bits of chicken or whitebait.
