The last time I went past which was a couple of weeks ago the fence was still up. Wish they would re open it. Used to love fishing from that pier. Got some great memories

Re: Kerford road pier
I walked past the Kerford Rd Pier two weeks ago and to me it looked like they had another six months of work still to do.... It looked like they still had half the pier to re-plank(?) .
So yeah umm, it'll be a while yet.

Re: Kerford road pier
I have seen some real beauties pulled out from that pier. Not just from the end. Even just half way up on the left hand side

Re: Kerford road pier
Just an update.
I drove past the pier on Thursday and looks like they were working on the platform on the top right hand side.

Re: Kerford road pier
The first fish I caught in Melbourne was a micro pinky off that pier on a bit of chicken bout 5 years ago.
I caught a tram to the city from la Trobe in Bundoora, thinking that I’d reached the CBD when I saw the skyline at Northcote.
Walked into the CA at flinders lane. Bought some bait and a handbook, figured out what a myki card looks like in between all this and that micro pinky meant a lot more to me than a lot of other first do to this day

There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.
