30lb maybe a bit ambitious, i'd say that fish is no more than 18. Still a nice fish though.
I was thinking around 20lb
Could be, doesn't get mentioned in the video so hard to tell.

So after the move I'm edging for good weather to take the boat out.
Could people give me some advice on both locations.

Just wondering if I should drive to port welshpool 70mins drive
After bottom fish etc.
Any reports atm?
What the ramps like and is there cleaning tables?

Or try the honeysuckle.
45 mins drive away.
What normally caught there?

That is the real weight no made up bull.

In the video they estimate 6kg which looks about right.

As for when that video was taken water temp 17.7 deg is November water temps so probably shot last year and only just published.

I have over 30 years of fishing the area August water temps are typically 14 deg.

Honeysuckles is a surf beach with no ramp as far as I know

You're closest option is McLaughlin, then Albert then Port Welshpool.

Welshpool is the pick of the bunch in my eyes, but the other 2 are great as well. Thumper flathead in McLaughlins inlet.

Imo snapper would be smaller on average in PW than PPB and WP.

All just a guess based on migration patterns though.

That was early August not late August. But yes colder than what it has been in the passed few years.

The water is also very dirty down that way atm due to all the rain. Last time I was there it was chocolate brown.
