Dunno, but noticed they changed from a fishing shop, to a hunting shop, to a game fishing shop over a couple of years. Always thought those last two iterations were odd - going from an everyone customer base to really specific customer base.

Is it related to Lee Rayner's fishing fever shop?
Retail is dying all across the country.

I thought was just called fishing fever. Didn't know changed to Game Fishing Fever, was it like game fishing only?
I went there few times, met Lee in person, genuinely nice guy with a lot of knowledge.

Sad to see it go was a great shop since it’s inception with Lee R and Morne Muller when Lee abruptly disappeared from IFISH.

To now with Lee R and Lee McDuffy they always provided great customer service they can all be proud of what a fantastic business it was.

Sad to hear. I always make an effort to go support my local tackle store even if it means spending a couple bucks more on something.

I’ve never met Lee Rayner but I can tell you I’d rather be in a room talking fishing with him over Paul Worsteling that’s for sure!

I remember I went there and was getting one cod lure and one lure for pinkie. He gave me and shared so much knowledge, taught me a lot about cod and snapper, and the diff of lures for diff situation.
I got so much more than just $30 I spent on the lures.
Genuine nice guy and great to talk about fishing.
