The bottle one at the bottom should be fine as far as i'm aware, just make sure the opening diameter isn't greater than 5 cm and the bottle isnt bigger than 25x25x50cm. Write your name and address on it as well.

Brightons not the best spot for mullet, i'd stick your traps in about a foot of water at sandy anchorage at low tide, or in the yarra around the westgate bridge.
what are you gonna use for the squid? squidding at brightons been pretty slow recently.

I ok f you’re after mullets for bait, I used to catch heaps down in the shallows at lagoon pier mate.

Whatever I have, the rod is ungly stick 5-8 kg class and silstar angler fish snapper rod
