Your New Years Fishing Resolutions

I am still no closer to achieving my goals and likely now will have to wait for spring/summer! Anyone else had any luck? Any new members want to add something?

My target for 2013 is to land the trifecta, :fish11: big red, KGW and a upwards of 1kg salmon from the surf on metal lures

Have achieved one resolution landed a 1.4kg on metal slugs this year :super:
New goal to catch a 1.5kg salmon small increases might make it achievable :rofl:

Achieved two out of three. KGW @42cm tick, salmon 2.09kg tick, snapper coming its just feeding now and waiting for me to catch it lol

Wanted to catch my first squid. Pulled in about 40 now. Tick!

Oh yeah, also, after much research. Bagged out on my first trip to the pier to get my egi on. Only time since too

I would love to get a 10-12lb ( or bigger) sea run trout in the next couple of months. They shouldn't be too far from hitting the rivers on the West Coast, usually come in there around October through to December. Then I would get my mate here in Sheffield to turn it into one of his master pieces. He's a fish Taxidermist.
