Some of my Favourite fresh water spots

Post by eslop » Tue Jan 08, 2013 6:22 pm

Just thought I'd share a couple of pics of some great spots I've come across recently.

I'd love to see others. Fresh and Salt.

To prove it's not always about catching fish, although it's nice to land a few.

Like a mate of mine always says "It's called fishing, not catchin..."

nice pics, that Toolamba spot looks familiar, if it's where i think, it produces well, cheers davo.
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Yeah, had a good couple of hours there the other day.

2 Yellas and another haul of smelly carp.

Got a bit hot and windy and I got a bit nervous about fires.
Cheers, Scott.

Looking towards Rushworth from Harriman's Point - Waranga Basin (during a very rare calm moment). Old pic and the water will be down by now. I fish the shallows during winter when the water is rising. Not much more than carp but very tranquil place at one in the morning.
thanks
Jim

I was out there New Years eve day. Calm like that, but water was WAY down. My 7 year old daughter was the only one who caught a fish. A little reddy about the same size as a lure.
Cheers, Scott.
