New Year fishing resolutions!

Post by Rod Bender » Fri Dec 27, 2013 11:03 pm

Here we go again! Fail for me in 2013 so I am going to stick with what I was after - but this time around I may actually try! :-D

1. To catch a cod off the surface. Have only attempted this once from memory.
2. To catch a yella on a lure. Have rarely targeted yellas on lures but I live in a very good area for them so no excuses!
3. To catch my first saltwater...anything. Have never pulled anything out of the salt except seaweed! :-D Not even a starfish! Have rarely fished 'salt' as well.

feel free to add your goals here!
cheers

- Catch a :snap: 70cm Carp

- Catch a Carp on bread

- Catch a Tench (a roach would be nice as well)

- Fish live in the sea? I haven't caught a salty fish either, but aren't in a great hurry to try. Might put that one on the bucket list.

Well, I had two this year, and got one, (local salmon in the 2.5-3kg bracket). So this coming year, 4kg+salmon, which wont be local, and a kingfish..
