I am novice at whiting fishing but that is the hook i use for them. Why because it had a sticker on the packet that said no 1 whiting hook. only used them once and they worked a treat.

That is the most heart warming thread I have read. Shame in the earlier posts, the pics haven't survived but all sweet, I imagined my own pics , , , , and the young lady's fish were bigger in my mind (as a true Fisherman does).
You are absolutely a Lucky Man, having great kids and Fishos at that too
But, without a doubt, it is those Young Ladies who are the lucky ones , , , , having a Dad like you.

As in that whiting size/length is 1/4 of her height?
A big fat long whiting it is on 1/0 Blackmagic whiting hook.
