Trevally
never seen/caught so many of these guys. been fishing alot lately off the shipping bouys from bouy 20 all the way to 5. Almost everytime have hooked up a trevally around 42+ cm. biggest at just on 48. Great sport and great eating, Ive fished these areas for many years and never hooked up to trevally like this. Let the good times roll

Re: Trevally
where is this place?? port phillip or westernport?? love the ole trevally on light gear!!
You know when they have a fishing show on TV? They catch the fish and then let it go. They don't want to eat the fish, they just want to make it late for something.

Re: Trevally
westernport bay, along the shipping channel in the western entrance. pilly fillet does the job.
the last 2 we got we thought we had a 2 or 3 kg pinkie on. They fight so well
they taste just as good. bout 70 ft of water. if the little pinkies leave ya bait alone long enough ya just about assured of getten one

Re: Trevally
Trevally caught in fast running tide current fight awesome , they tend to use their body side on in the tide flow & are a exellent sporting fish in these conditions .
