Scuba Divers Drown off Morno

Weather would be pretty rough today not sure why you would be suba diving in this weather.

Holy cow. I was there and saw the 2 scuba divers heading in off the pier. A guy and a girl. They looked very equipped and like they knew what they were doing. So sad. It was crazy rough on the bay side of the pier but not bad in the harbour side. There was even a kayaker out there fishing. I wonder if it is all to do with the weather or perhaps something unrelated, like a bad tank fill. Very, very sad.

Would have thought that the visibility would be bad after the rain, swell and wind etc

The vis was pretty good actually. Could see the bottom pretty clearly. I'm guessing v it's about 4 meters but I dont know. Was navy divers training off Flinders also. Vis there was good too.

A other news article I read said that the man drowned and then the woman got stuck under the pier. I think it was herald sun.
