I wasn't tooo inaccurate, but in saying that.. ofcourse i'm not a pro lol.
Saw plenty of size fish schooling thought!
We took a gopro, but my little brother forgot to put the sd card in it :wall:
Going for an abalone hunt this weekend, will make sure the gopro is prepped, and hopefully we catch some fish too!

Lol Scott! Great link! I've heard of many spearos encounter sharks.. But aslong as you respect them, and don't panic.. you're most likely to leave unscathed.

Re: Spearfishing
Yep whoever said cut it up for berley is onto it. I dislike talking to Fisheries inspector clowns at the best of times, let alone having to explain an under size fish; and you should not be able to explain your way out of it.
Everyone makes mistakes, I shot a couple undersized fish when learning and it's not worth the stress of walking back to the car because you didn't want to put the centimeter short fish back into the aquatic food chain.
Look at your hand underwater or a measured abalone and you will notice how much bigger things can look.
Like someone said, if in doubt don't shoot it.
