I recently purchased one of these Caribee Backpacks for $49.99 from Rebel.

Serves it's purpose for me and even has a wet/dry compartment:

haha. Nice one Mick. Thanks for all the replies guys. I'll take it all on board was hoping someone had the blackmagic bag and could tell us a bit about it. Along with the tackle i still want to be able to fit some snacks as i'll be mostly landbased.

I just use a carribee back pack and put what i need for the fishing I'm doing that day. The stuff that is permanently in the backpack includes leader, knife, pliers, CD sleeve with premade rigs. Everything else is in storage boxes which I put in during the day.

I have the http://www.bcf.com.au/online-store/prod ... mendations" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It is absolutely awesome so much that 2 of my mates have now gone out and got one. You can store everything you need and you can even attach a rod to the side.

It sits perfect on your back and is comfortable to carry. I highly recommend them. You pay for what you get!

*EDIT* i forgot to mention the backpack breaks into half which is great when you dont need to bring to much gear.

I have my tackle in those clear plastic tackle trays and select what I need per trip and put in a cheap Kmart shoulder slung bag.
Find this easiest - you only take what you need and if you happen to be wading through water or are in a tight space and have to get to tackle - the bag is easy to access. If you have a back pack you have to stop and get the bag right off to get to your gear on the go.
