Best Sunglasses for fishing?

Anyone have an opinion on what are the best sunglasses to use for fishing?
Interested in something cheap (to leave in a tackle box or boat) but still does the job.

Have a look at the Polarized Blue Steel range from BCF, get the string that goes around the neck as well.. I've had one in my fishing bag for ages and its served me well.. Its Polarized and they have a few different styles.. From memory, i think it was around the $50-$80 range..

I wouldn't be leaving them in your tackle box.

Polarized is a good start I use Revo has better penetration so you can see deeper and clearer in to the water.

Mako and Costa are also very good both available with glass lenses.

I own OCEAN polarised sunglasses and Iove them, they were probably one of the best $30 I've ever spent. However the best fishing sunglasses in my opinion are any polarised Maui Jim sunglasses, however you will be looking at spending around $200 - $300 dollars.

Depends what celebrity angler you ask and that could change depending on who's paying the bills.

Polarised is definitely the way to go. what brand you get is up to you and your budget
if your like me and wear prescription glasses then the best option i found was to go to specsavers or big W and get their cheap prescription polarised lenses
ive used a BP service station bought polarised sunnies for quite a while which did a reasonable job.
if you want the best then you need GLASS lenses not plastic ones

So are you saying Paul Worsteling has an ulterior motive when he suggests getting numerous pairs Spotters to accommodate the varying light conditions?....I'm shocked!

I've got a pair of spotters and they are awesome. Once you have had them on for awhile you forget they are even there. Price is up there, but well worth it in my opinion.

I have Glass lense ones.

There pretty good for spotting fish like trout in rivers and great in the blue water.

One day I left them in my swag and after I day on the ocean my eyes were so tired...

They are well worth it

I have a pair of tonic and spotters 1amber 1 blue both glass lens both are good I also carry about 3 pairs of cheap polarised glasses on my boat in case I leave mine in my car done that a lot especially when it's an early start, and for whoever else is with me and they have forgotten theirs
