Stick rod in holder or lean away from you, chuck the line in your mouth and start tying.
haha id like to see you do it that way on a boat in lousy weather conditions :-D
i used to do it that way, but ended up getting a sore jaw from biting down the leader
Let me know when you're keen, it's not that difficult to tie so long as you get a setup you are comfortable with

atm im happy with the way im doing it, but we shall catch up sometime and maybe ill see how you do it on the boat and give it a crack myself
the good thing with that way is the braid doesnt blow around if its windy.

he does it in a yak sometimes i believe.

i tie it like in the vid below. just need some tension on the leader (sit on the spool). can tie it almost by feel atm. the half hitches take me longer than the actual friction knot so...

...i'm trying a rizzuto finish atm like in the vid below. faster to tie, but the transition from leader tag to braid is a bit rough when retrieving through small guides

I've bought a two pack of these to save my teeth, I find it works well attached to a belt loop on my pants.

Same way as ducky... although I'm gonna learn to tie with the hands. Seems quicker and More manageable from a yak
