The old wooden punt is dead. She had more sika on it than timber so time for a new vessel. Keen to see if anyone has any good ideas on how they made something up for prawning. My thinking was to use some pvc pipe made into a little raft to hold a box with bucket and battery. Should be nice and light unlike my old banger that was awful heavy!

I use one of these for floundering... never tried prawning.

Its perfect to store everything, large bucket, a coat if it gets cold drinks and snacks..just tows behind while I walk, and the battery if you still use those, I have an LED set up now.Kimtown wrote:hornet wrote:I use one of these for floundering... never tried prawning.

My pa use to use a car inflated tyre tube with a polystyrene box with lid in the center of the tube to put the battery in and prawn in
