Yep got to.get it installed correctly and get the setting right and you be fine

Yea I’d get it properly installed too by a professional unless you have experience in that kind of thing :)
I had mine done by a professional and never had a problem with it so far :)

Meh...you can install a sounder yourself quite easily, it isn't rocket science and the wiring is basic and easy to follow. Getting the transducer depth and angle right needs a bit of attention and sometimes trial and error on the water, but it's no biggie. Then of course you need to learn how to use the sounder rather than relying on 'auto' mode for all conditions. RTFM is good advice.

if you got no idea how to read a sounder and only getting it to use at this location, then your wasting your time and money tbh
