Re: Polarised glasses...need for prescription?
I am not sure of the exact figures Steve. I knew before I went in things have changed...having difficulty reading small print. I will talk to them but may stick with normal polariised. My current glasses are fine except I want some slightly larger frames. Will worry about prescription lenses down the track.purple5ive wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 8:09 pmHow much did your prescription change by Jim.
If it's just one point then you will not need them.
I've been using my prescription sunnies from.6 years ago and it was fine. My prescription changed 2 points since then.
I have just got new ones yesterday.
Thanks for the replies everyone.

Re: Polarised glasses...need for prescription?
Yeah if you dont need the prescription polarisers yet, then stick with normal off the shelf polarised sunnies.
But if your buying new ones then maybe look into the prescription ones.
i got mine from specsavers, 2 pairs for $500, one of them has a similar lense technology as spotters where it darkens with ambient light. the other is just normal polarised Prescription sunnies.
a good pair of polarised sunnies would be around $300 plus, spotters, mako and other brands start at $500 Plus for prescription models for one pair..

Jim, let's not jump the gun too quick.
That Trivago Chick is quite nice
But you have to remember, that all those travel sights do sound the same. You may have been watching another.
Here's an "eye sight test":
** If you are after a coffee from "travel mascot A", you pass and all is sweet.
** If you are after a coffee from "travel mascot B", then your eye sight may not be up to scratch
PLUS, as travel mascot B's voice is a few octaves lower than that of A's , , , , you may need a hearing test too
Cheers, Bugatti
