Rod sensor

The angler I met at the ferntree gully quarry had this fish sensor connected to his rod to get photos gps position air pressure etc it then could be downdowded to his phone to keep all data collected for future reference

looks like something that came accross my twitter during CES this year (ces is the consumer eletronics show alot of big stuff is showen there from future tv's to the orginal roomba) called the cyber fishing smart rod sensor. Honostly looks like a waste of time to have to use since you have to touch it to save the data and to be truthful just more stuff to remeber to recharge and take out each fishing session.
