Lets talk Portable/travel Landing nets
Guys,
Im in the market for a collapsible/telescopic/travel, call it what you want landing net..
This will mostly be used for bream, and smaller stuff like pinkies etc landbased.
Has anyone got any idea where to start looking or actually have one they can share some details of
Im looking for COMPACT size, so something in the 30cm range compacted..
I like to travel light.
Ps- this is not a necessity as such, but more so a backup just in case..
i have looked at the anaconda ones so far. they look promising but a lil bit too big, mayeb theres somethign smaller you guys have seen??
cheers

Jon has a browning net. Pretty sweet too. I like the egi gaffs like tsuribaka sell. If you look on plat there's nets that attach too.

Is it something you want to be able to carry around with you. i.e attached to your backpack/ in your bag when lure fishing or something you can leave on the pier and use it when needed. The longer nets are usually still pretty long when compacted. I generally don't carry a net with any fishing but the berkley kayak net is great although probably way too small for what you want it for.

Re: Lets talk Portable/travel Landing nets
I got one from one of the cheap chinese sites. It feels pretty rickety, but it does fold down to like 30cm, and extends out to about 1 - 1.2mtrs I think.
I got it for exactly the same reasons you are after one.
On the plus side it was very cheap. I will try and take a photo of it when I get a chance
