St leonards banjo plague
St leonards banjo plague
Been fishing st leonards over the past month a fair bit and every trip being absolutly hammered by banjoes with the odd eagle ray and port Jacko thrown in. Yes I know gummy fishing u have to work through junk but never caught so much. Last year I did a bit of gummy fishing to however the banjoes never seemed to be as bad as they are ATM. From what I've heard and seen by Facebook etc other people are having the same problem

They've been especially annoying when fishing for ting there to, at least on heavier gummy gear you can skull drag them in quick.

Nothing worse than dragging banjoes against the current on light ting gearTrumpeter wrote:They've been especially annoying when fishing for ting there to, at least on heavier gummy gear you can skull drag them in quick.

Plenty is Westernport as well. I am about 20-0 from my last 4 trips for Banjo to Gummy ratio.

Would love to have a spot like the bait shop jetty in southern ppb. The only bait I use is freshly caught squid and salmon or pike fresh if I can catch itSTriplett1997 wrote:denis barden wrote:You shouldnt be Berlying for Gummies
