cat bay

Post by raco09 » Sat Apr 19, 2014 5:30 pm

Evening all. I've heard of a beach called Cat Bay on the island (no not you miffy and sparkles) that at times fishes well for these grey creatures with or without teeth. Could anyone give me its location or any tips at all please? Hoping to try it out next week. Cheers

Its on the bay side on the way to nobbies and just before cowrie which is the next bay along. Hss a small surf beach just below the carpark, quiet inlet, rocky point on the right. In the penguin zone.

It's just south of Mchaffies Reef Phil adjacent to Buoy 2. Gummies do get caught from boats there, but a lot of rubbish fish too.

Can you fish that area or is it protected?
