Anyone have any Kato rods ? looks like a BCF home brand, they look ok but is the action any good ?

I had the old kato predator combo, the reel was sh*thouse but the graphite rod was actually pretty good it was my main rod for 2-3 years, good action the only let down was the cheap components I ended up upgrading when the reel seat broke.

Strong too, I had the 2-4kg that landed an 80cm cod without a drama and a few other fish well that pushed its rating a bit.

I'd probably choose an Abu Garcia over a Berkeley drop shot or a kato rod but I'm sure they'll all be fine the Berkeley drop shots are a fairly popular rod for a cheap alternative to plastic n light hardbody fishing
If I'm not fishing, I'd rather be fishing!

Can't really go wrong with any of them at those prices if it's not going to get heavy use.
