There was also a 902 T Curve at 40% off.
Unfortunately a lot of stuff still cost more than what I can get it for online even with the discount so it's little wonder business isn't going well for them.
The nitro rods are going for a good price 199 to 250.

Man thats tough, very difficult to buy a rod online if you haven't held it first. Where will we go to cop a feel if these places keep closing, will be stuck with run of the mill gear from the big outlets.

I reckon some of the online places will open up warehouses in the industrial areas where you can go and cop a feel before you buy something.

The reason for closing down is that the building was auctioned for near $6m a few months back. The landlord will raise the rent. also the new owner might build highrise units and knock the building down. It is pretty popular in box hill. Cranes everywhere.

Yeah it's not good.
I heard **** Smith on the news today saying he even thought Harvey Norman was in likely to face the same issues as DSE.
Sadly there are heaps of businesses today facing the same issue.
All the fishing shops are facing immense pressure from Ebay etc
I was talking to a manager at Ray's Outdoor and he said fishing equipment only accounts for 3% of their sales.

I used to shop at Complete angler store here in Dandenong and it was too pricey for tackle etc...hence the reason why i shop online as you can compare prices and a lot cheaper
