Garfish at Sandy Breakwall
Hi guys, lots of good reports of big bags of garfish off the break wall but I've never fished for them before!
I'm hearing it's float gear and long rod (I have a 17ft commercial carp)..but other than that I haven't a clue. Do you sight fish for them or berley and bring them in or what?
Am I better off fishing the bay side of the wall or the calmer inner boat marina side?
I'm looking at hitting it up while the weather is nice and settled at the weekend.
Cheers
John

Pencil float with splitshots to a just have the orange part showing. Here is a video of how to set it up.
Will need burley, some breadcrumbs mixed with water and tuna oil. For bait you can use silverfish, maggots, dough or prawns. Personally I like silverfish.
