Brighton Breakwall pinky update 13-4-14.

Post by nhillboy » Sun Apr 13, 2014 11:15 pm

Hi all, hit Brighton for a fish 12pm to 8pm. High tide was at 1pm and low tide at 7.30pm. It was a nice sunny day with wind mainly Sth.E at 15 knots early and under 10 at sunset. Again plenty of nibbles and lost bait from the small pinkys. Released 2 small flathead and a couple of small pinkys. My keepers caught on salmon fillets after dark were 3 pinkys 30, 31 & 33cm. It was very satisfying to take home some pinkys for a change. Other baits used were pilchards and squid on 1/0 bait holder hooks. Left for home at 8.30pm with poor Bomber George having no fish in his bucket.

Yiasou R7, and thanks. Yes,very healthy pinkys and nice colour. Released one at 27.5cm which had a rich red colouring. Yeah, my Tigers were weak. Not as bad listening to George's radio while his Bombers got smashed in the Perth heat.

Thanks dude...You want to know poodoo  George left at 10pm with a big fat donut. Not good for his ego :lolf:
After i left him he got onto an eagle ray which at first he thought was a big Snapper and also landed 1 banjo.

Nice catch there Jim.
I thought maybe you had hung up the poles for a while, especially with footy starting to fire up :Bar:
