Popped out for a couple of hours off Mornington this morning. Got 20 odd flatties 30-35cm. Nothing red, but still a tasty feed. I'll take a couple of pics when I fillet them later. I took a pic of the pier from the bay side though. Looks like it will be a while before its fixed.

Yum yum! When you filleted them, did you notice some of them had eggs inside mate?

Some of mine did. What a feast! Do you skin them as well or cook them as they are?
I don't mind them with the skin on. Only take them off when cooking some up for the missus as she prefers it without the skin.

How long do you steam it for mate? I like trying different ways.
Smoked some for the first time the other night and it was very nice :thumbsup:
