Yeah. I might as well put it here.

what time - Sept 10, approx 935PM
what tide - just after high tide
what bait - old, pilly cube with freezer burn
what hook - Octopus 4/0
what line - 20 lb spiderwire braid, 30 lb Berkley trilene XL leader, 4 oz sinker
what rod - Penn Prevail 11 footer
what reel - Shimano Sustain 5000

where - from a beach between Safety Beach and Port Melbourne. :rofl:
Length - 87.5 cm, call it 87 cm.

It's a fatty, 7.8 kg on spring scale of the lip gripper. Dropped a smaller specimen 5 min later then the pinkies came in swarm.
