Re: brighton pier
Was at Brighton today, moment we got there we saw some blokes catch a very nice ~70cm red on the break wall, first good fish I’ve seen caught there in a long while. Wind picked up something nasty though and we bailed pretty quick as our gear definitely was not up to the task.

Re: brighton pier
New here, fish Brighton rock wall pretty regularly during the warmer months. Caught a 52cm flatty in the past week (new PB) and a 29cm pinky but besides that not much else but have only just started again after a long winter off!
I also hear there are bream on the inside of the baths - has anyone managed to pry one out?

Welcome to the forum mate! Do you fish lures or bait?Vainch wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 3:50 pmNew here, fish Brighton rock wall pretty regularly during the warmer months. I haven't heard of bream around brighton, I have however heard of whiting being caught in the weed beds just past the baths in the similar area you mentioned.
May be some bream lurking amongst the boats but i've never seen one caught.

Congrats on your new PB flattie. That’s a beauty

Re: brighton pier
I've seen bream swimming around the pylons at the platform on the right near the start of the pier. I'm sure they are there, catching them is another question...
