brighton pier

fished the pier today with soft plastic was very quiet so went to the end of the breakwall and decided to go big 100mm white lightning whip bait and nitro stealth 3/8 3/0 hook with some sfactor first cast bang an a hit 15 odd casts later bang a good hit but no hook up changed jig head smaller hook and jighead zip nothing went back to original setup bang good hit but no fish oh well fish win today on the wayback tied on a tt switchblade first cast right next to the baths a touch kept working the lure to the pier in glides a squid a metre from the pier he has a couple of tentative grabs then moves of so throw on a couple of different squid jig,s nothing oh well some times you catch them all sometimes you dont the squid was at 2.30 in the afternoon anyway nice weather to be out fishing

couldnt fish brighton today was packed learn to swim day went to sandy for a couple of hours hard going 1 salmon 1 gar

fished today dropped a flatty on the rocks he was lucky got a 34cm 1/2 hour later
