Cheers Az yer I have fished Brighton a few times but only managed the one flatty think I've just been stiff with timing. I know they def catch a lot down there. Will def be goin Brighton when I do finally give the squid a go. I do like how sandy isn't as busy as what Brighton gets though haha

Gummys are common in most places as they tend to feed on same grounds as snapper I've herd and seen good pics of gummys off St kilda sandy and brighton walls I've caught gummys not far from them is well in the boat
My tip for gummys oily baits is best I,e small cuts of tuna salmon and so forth also pike is really good for them
