Brighton Pier

Post by Desperate Guy » Wed Nov 01, 2017 3:30 pm

Hi guys, I’m planning to go with a couple of friends to Brighton Pier this Sunday afternoon to have a crack at the fish. VFA has announced that the majority of snapper are officially in the bay but I don’t know if there’s pinky’s around landbased. We plan to take a couple baifishing rods work soft plastics in the meantime(or whatever’s hot on the pier at the time, eg: metals for salmon). What do you guys think of our chances? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks

It has been quiet for me the last 3 visits. Some pinkies have been caught by other fishos. W/SW winds are better. Try and get a spot all the way at the end of the rockwall

Quiet.

The only thing hot is the head of the old farts who think they own every inch of the pier and rockwall

Should I try to whip out the bait into the bay or just chuck it far enough for a bit of distance between the wall? Thank you all for your advice!

There is a really nice video on YouTube how to work the plastics at Brighton pier for flatties.
