Went to Brighton Pier today for 4 hours and managed 4 King George Whiting, and plenty of undersized pinkies which were all safely released.

Does anyone know when the squid start to fire up again around Brighton Pier?

What Bait have you been using Jon? Would love to get out and go chase some whiting again... its just finding the time.:oops:

Hey Pike... I predominately use freshly caught squid cut into strips for the whiting.

Had a 3 hour session at Brighton Pier tonight and caught about 16 fish

.

1 x 36cm Trevally
2x 36 cm Pinkies
2 x 30 cm Pinkies

Many Undersized pinkies and only the one undersized whiting tonight.

Fishaholic, I had a quick flick for squid to no avail as the Pinkies were keeping me too busy!
