Breakwall update 8-2-2013, 50cm Flathead, pinkys x4...

Friday nights update at Brighton....My mate George fished the breakwall through low tide with some good action between 9.30pm and 11pm when at it calmest. 6 to 8pm at it roughest 20 knots no action. Pilchards again best bait. The buggar landed a ripper 50cm flathead outdoing my 48cm one from Thursday night. Landed and released some small pinkys keeping 4 at 28-30cm...

we were there until 1030PM and no one caught a thing. Are you sure you were in Brighton?

I think all fish were caught near the far end of the break wall past the marina?
When we fished down there we were getting bites and landed a Banjo and hooked a massive Ray, but not much else....
Just before sunset, we moved closer to the 2nd hut - nothing but destroyed baits and toadies! left around 9.30pm

Your right, he was near the end. Hooked 3 rays also during the session getting busted off twice and landing one which was released...He has a knack of being where the fish are no matter which part of the breakwall he sets up.

nice work went there last night late got there around 11pm as a mate was working late no luck tho stayed till about 2am lol but gonna go back tonight erlier and hopefuly more luckn still chasing my first fish lol
