The barometer is down at the moment and effects certain fish's swim bladders such as Snapper.
A friend wanted to drop a line so we tried Mornington and Mt Martha last night and got Nada :-( I had 2 bites off Martha before pulling the pin.

brighton has tested my patience! lol
started checkin it out in winter. never usedto bother with local piers above mornington.
started hearing enough pinkie stories to start fishing around east bayside.

just when this recent landbased blitz started I missed it by days dammit! the pics on facebook were doin my head in;)

gotta get sum solid action next trip.

I can never decide if I should setup on that curve or down the very end of the rockwall.

is it sandi or brighton that has that channel marker that youre meant to cast close to.

there was an old post describing guys taking turns casting in that spot whilst a school ripped thru.

I heard lots of flying cows were caught last night. Apparently the wind blew them from farms in the west and got netted or gaffed in brighton. There were cats and dogs in between.

Some horrible conditions last night at Brighton :)
I tuffed it out 4pm-10.30pm... The only action that I saw took place was a banjo caught by a bloke and a nice red dropped by me at the rocks.... Otherwise, absolutely dead in, what I thought would be, good conditions to get a fish.
Anyone had any luck today/tonight??
