Fishing Report, first one back from layup.

Post by ango » Thu Sep 04, 2014 3:28 pm

Hi All,
Took the boat out for a run today after winter layup, pretty much the same as my last trip before layup, but fewer squid & smaller, got 5 drifting out from Riketts Point, then a couple of salmon just north of Mordi pier. Had a crack at the gars out from Parkdale, then from Mordi, but none about. Also had a go at the snapper out about 12 m deep off Ricketts point, no runs but plenty of bait about on the sounder, bit early for the snapper but always worth a try.
Cheers from
Ango.
