MyMordi Pier fishing report and warning as well

Post by viclovesfish » Mon Oct 20, 2014 10:53 am

Hi Guys, just want to share an incident I had with some drunk kids at Mordi pier last friday night. I was fishing and some drunk kids keeps messing my stuff, maybe bcoz I'm all by myself and 5 of them, checking my things for cigarettes,,, so annoying as they shouted at me and one of the drunk kid even messing with my bait knife, I tried to be calm as possible and not to engage as these are teenagers and are not in the right mind,, however, sometimes they are out of line specially checking your bags and touching your stuff...... I told the guy not to touch the knife as can be cut himself...... as they stayed longer I am losing my patience..... I'm supposed to be there to relax and have some peace of mind.... oh well, lucky nothing happened and I did not caught anything either....

THERE IS NO RESPECT FOR ANYONE OR ANYTHING THESE DAYS

You did the right thing.

I know it's hard to keep your cool, but 5 of them and they were drunk.

You didn't loose any gear and you didn't get assaulted.

It was your lucky night.

perhaps next time try to keep your stuff as packed away as when you arrived except for your rod.
I hope I remember to do my suggestion if'n I ever go fishing to a place like that alone.

I think you'd better keep you bait/fillet knife with you rather than leave it to those drunk, you never know what they'll do with it...

Before you buy check this out

stupid kids, got no respect these days.

and as to the pepper spray idea apparently a good method is just grind up pepper and put it in the old film casing and your set to go. also a good thing for the mrss to have in her bag just in case, just pop the top and throw it in there face lol

I think there is a case of not leaving your knife in plain view. Leaving it out might just be too tempting to the wrong person.
