Can i know where do you park when fishing at the pier?
I see that there is a paid carpark right by the Pier from 8am-8PM i think...
so if you get there early in the morning before 8 does it mean i have to walk back to get the ticket at 8... that's rather inconvenient no? :-D
Don't know the carpark or the restrictions.
If it's paid parking from 8am to 8pm then you need to pay from 8am
Most ticket machines allow you to pay, say 2 hours at 6am, but the ticket will be from 8am.
So you have until 10am, then you need to pay again, if you want to stay.
If the sign has a time limit, you can only stay for that length of time (btw 8 & 8)

If you're willing to walk a bit then there's parking all along beach road. Weekends is unlimited parking

You can use the parking app and pay upfront so you don't need to go back to your car to top up. Signs around the parking area have instructions

you will have to go and get a ticket at 8am. The parking inspectors at mordi are very vigilant and will book you more often than not. get the EasyPark app, then you pay online (mobile) and can park for as long as you want. If you leave early, you can end your parking on the app and it will only charge you for the time used

Just remember when using the app, parking blokes don't know when you finished paying.
So finish paying at your car, not while you pack up, at the end of the pier.
Takes 30 seconds (or so) to book you.
Once booked, that's it
