Beamauris 13/1/2018

Post by wem21 » Sat Jan 13, 2018 10:06 am

Hi all!
Got there at around 8 in the morning and fished until 10:30. Chucked a few plastics around with no bites or anything, except for a few bitten off tails (Grr toadies). Became sick of that happening and switched to squid jigs, without any squid. Was pretty fun, except for the doughnut. Might be better off going at sunset for squid.
Cheers

I wouldnt mind losing a few crappy ones that sink vertically for an excuse to go buy new ones :). Is there any jig you could recommend for that area? Also just a random question but are the sephia 14t glow in the dark?

All white Sephia 14t works at night perfectly. The ring at the end of the jig near the prongs glows,
