Screw Creek : nada on yabbies
Inverloch Pier : yabbies and squid. 6 of the smallest Pinkies and flathead. Couple of decent tries but they spat the hook before I could land. Think I wasn’t p1ssed!

Those micro pinkies can get very annoying.

If there are micro pinkies, is it a safe bet there are larger around or is it not warm enough yet? Not sure how it works to be honest.

From my personal experience I have had sessions where I cast and micro ones are on the hook straight away but in amongst them would get size ones too. By large I assume you are talking good table size pinkies?
