I havent been able to get out for weeks now. I was going to go on Wednesday, but had to cancel and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Anyway, great report mate and its good to see the squid are still about (as always). Im still probably another week and half from being able to hit the water due to work.
Hopefully you will get a chance to have a go as well soon
Cheers

I totally agree with Bugatti (and forgot to point it out in my first reply).Bugatti wrote: ↑Sat Jun 29, 2019 8:53 amLightningx wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 1:50 pm
When we got back, we had a chat to another guy who had been out for 5-6 hours all over without much success with his daughter.
They both seemed nice and friendly and so we gave them 4 squid from our catch which they were very happy about.
Great day out there LX. And a haul of squid is always good for the dinner table (or dinner tables as with your generosity).
That Father & Daughter would have driven off saying the same thing you said "they both seemed nice" about you and your mate. Well done
And great to see that you share the love , , , , and the squid :a_goodjob:Lightningx wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 5:12 pm
Gave some to my dad and sister and her family too
Cheers
Cheers, Bugatti
Its great to see people helping each other out. Its not all about filling your freezer. If i ever have bait left i try to give it to anyone at the ramp that is heading out. And i have even given my parking ticket to people if i am finished with it and they are about to pay (and ive had people do they same to me). What goes around, comes around.

This a quoted post from my last fishing trip
Bugatti wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 9:24 pmIt was a nice evening rb. Met a lovely couple and their dog "Buster" at the last spot and we stayed probably an hour longer than we were all intending having a great chat while Buster was sneaking closer and closer to my Pillies, he loved them . We pooled our bait and had some mixed success, no keepers though
Cheers, Bugz
Now firstly, I was trying to "condense" the quotes but just didn't know what to omit as it all shows the point I'm trying to make.
And I totally agree with you and your ethos about fishing too, Steve.
That couple that I met at the second spot, we pooled our bait, helped each other out and had a great time.
One thing we all were talking about was , , , , that fishing can do one of two things with people , , , , brings out the bad in some people or brings out (or shows, for a better phrase) the good in others.
Cheers, Bugatti

Thanks Steve!purple5ive wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2019 9:30 pmGreat catch.
I havent been out in ages due to weather and family commitments. Hopefully I can be out soon and get a few squid
I know the feeling mate. I had been wanting to take the boat out for awhile but always something comes up!!! Busy with either family commitments or finally when I get a chance the weather is crap!
Anyway, hope you get a chance to have a fish soon too!
Cheers
