Went out for a quick fish day off mordialloc before work it search for some pinkies. Didn't manage to find any only ended up catching one undersized flathead. Just wondering if anyone had any luck today?
Might try wp over the Easter holidays.

Re: Mordialloc
i fished off mornington a few weeks back didnt do any good either
i think we only got 5 small squid at the end of the day
westerenport is probably a better bet, out of stoney point
still hit and miss but better chances

That's what I was thinking hopefully catch some gummy, elephants or whiting if they're still in the bay.

I got a squid and two pinkies (on pieces of the squid) from mordy earlier this week. round 3 am and 5 am on the 12th. nearly lost my surf rod a couple of times for having the drag set too tight and not paying attention. busted off a few more times. fun night/morning
