Nice read. I would like to do more Estuary fishing, I have found the Barwon estuary to be really hard going, very small fish and very fast flowing tides.

Thanks FH, I didn't know the mouth of the river was like that.
I've only seen the "drain" further upstream.
It's not far from Hoppers, so might give it a go

I haven't caught any EP's before in the Creek, but I wouldn't rule it out. Mulloway is a real possibility, as they would hunt the schools of Mullet.bilby wrote:Are there any estuary perch in there?

There is a handy little ramp to slide a kayak in if need be. Exit into the bay silts up at low tide and is unpassable. Time I was there full of mullet
