Hello all,
Just wondering if its possible to catch bream from under the boats and around the pylons in the little creek where boats are moored next to mordialloc pier?

You certainly can, but like most metro bream,they are not easy to catch. In the past i have caught them on the shallow reef where the rocks meet the pier using soft plastics early in the morning on first light. You can usually polaroid them cruising the shallows from first light - but mostly when there is very little boat traffic and calm seas. Winter is usually the best time as it means, less boats moving through the creek and first light is usually around 6.30 - 7am. Polaroids are a must.

Yes have seen people catching them there before. But like he others said closer to the mouth

Ive caught them in the creek yes.
I however havent tried the mouth. But looks like it also works well.
