Had a good session at the docks last night on blades with a couple of mates. I ended up with 8 bream for the night and dropped around a dozen. Most were dropped just after hookup so I switched from using a blade with stingers to one with trebles. Still dropped some though and one pulled the hooks right at my feet - that hurt ;)

All were mid 20 to high 30s. No standout fish so not many pictures. All were released for someone else to catch.

Managed to pick up a bream on my last cast of the night too which was perfect end to a great night breamin and having a chinwag with a couple of mates.

No major changes to what I normally do. Think I was just lucky enough to pick a pontoon where they were schooling up for the night.

Yep they certainly are very pretty fish. They lose their color very quickly though after being caught and are quite fragile from what I've seen.

Yeah. It was shedding scales just in the wind. Quick couple of photos and released it. Swam off well. Lucky though - the stinger hooked it at the base of the gill plate but only just and didn't actually damage the gill. When I first saw the hookup point I was a bit concerned for its welfare but all good
